In the service you will learn new skills to help manage your pain. But you won’t be doing this alone - we’re all here, walking the walk with you.
We have completely updated and refreshed our old website and we hope that you find the content useful and informative.
From the 1st January 2020 we are changing the way people access our service and we ask that you watch the video above before deciding if the service is right for you or not.
There are many resources on here for people living with pain and also for clinicians and professionals.
Thank you for visiting.
In addition to the support we at the pain service provide, The Dorset Self-Management Service offer a FREE NHS service for people with long- term health conditions and carers to feel more confident self-managing on a day-to-day basis.
You can also make use of LiveWell Dorset. They are here for your health and wellbeing and will guide you to a healthier lifestyle through FREE advice and coaching.

Would you like phone or online support from a Pain Chain Coach?
A Pain Chain Coach is somebody who has chronic pain and therefore understands the challenge of living with daily pain.
We are very sorry but due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to offer any new pain coaches at the moment but will endeavour to get this back up and running as soon as possible.
